Definitely a mix fueled by Bruce Ruffin's Lee Perry produced gem "The Bitterness of Life." Check out the killer fender rhodes work on Cal Tajder's Soul Sauce from the OP LP Live at the Funky Quarters. Also worth a listen, Bo Diddley's strangely compelling "Infatuation" from the early 70's when it's hard to believe anyone gave a shit about Bo Diddley besides other musicians and the producers that owned his songs. I also love the duet between Bobby Womack and Bill Withers on "It's All Over Now".
